Pengaruh Weight Bearing Exercise Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pasien Hipertensi

Abstract

Hipertensi didefinisikan sebagai tekanan darah tinggi yang menetap, dimana tekanan darah sistolik ≥ 140 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolik  ≥ 90 mmHg, ketika diukur paling tidak pada dua kali pengukuran dan pada dua kondisi  yang berbeda dengan jarak dua minggu. Penyebab hipertensi secara garis besar dibedakan pada 2 faktor resiko yaitu faktor yang tidak dapat diubah (non modifiable risk factor) dan faktor yang dapat diubah. Hipertensi yang tidak terkontrol sebagai faktor penyebab dalam morbiditas dan mortalitas akibat timbulnya gangguan pada kardiovaskuler. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Weight Bearing Exercise Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pasien Hipertensi. Metode penelitian adalah quasi eksperiment dengan hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa weight bearing exercise selama 1 dan 2 hari tidak berpengaruh terhadap tekanan darah sistol sedangkan weight bearing exercise selama 3 hari berpengaruh terhadap tekanan darah sistol. Hasil ini lain menunjukkan bahwa weight bearing exercise selama 1, 2, dan 3 hari berpengaruh menurunkan tekanan darah diastole pada pasien hipertensi. Perawat sebagai petugas kesehatan pada garda terdepan dapat membantu pasien untuk melakukan suatu hal dalam memodifikasi faktor penyebab yang dapat diubah agar pasien tidak mengalami komplikasi yang berat dari penyakitnya dengan melakukan weight bearing exercise cara turun tangga dan naik tangga.
